In this article I will list 10 application schools are using nowadays. The article will include a brief summery about each application. I hope you will benefit from this and use some of them in your career as a teacher.

Remind is a communication platform
that helps every student, parents and teachers to send real-time messages to
any phone, Message a class, a person, or just a small group, translate messages
into more than 85 languages, and share photos, handouts, and other files.
Ø Wordle
Wordle is an app
used in many schools for different purposes. It can be used by students or
teachers to create a slide presentation. The notes are written in the Notes
section of the slide. Once the presentation is ready, all notes are copied and
pasted into Wordle. Students can analyze where their words are repetitive (such
as like, love, or also) and adjust their presentation notes. They use Wordle with

ClassDojo is a free, beautiful, safe, and simple communication app for teachers, parents, and students. Teachers can encourage students for any skill, like “Working hard” and “Teamwork”. They can communicate with the parents and bring parents into the classroom experience by sharing photos, videos, and announcements. Students can add their classwork easily to their own digital portfolios for their parents to see. Parents see their child’s updates at home, as well as a stream of photos and videos from school. It is used in may schools in UAE such as: Al-Dar Academy School, Liwa International School and Al-Shaheen School.

kids have been up to in English class, view their current grades, and
communicate with teachers about progress and challenges. It is used in Al
Andulu Private Academy.

Classloom is a social communication and
collaboration platform for teachers, parents and students which aims at making
this communication faster, easier and streamlined. It’s basically a cloud
solution and free. A teacher can open a class based group in Classloom and
invite parents and/or students and also all class teachers easily by email. In
a group a teachers can share all school events, homework assignments, exam
schedule, announcements, photos and documents with group members. All groups
are close groups and no one can reach any content other than group members.
Each group also has a group wall which is designed such as a typical social
media timeline. Teachers and parents can post text messages, photos, url’s and
also Youtube video links to the group wall. They can make comments to the posts
and like posts and comments. So that all class parents and teachers can
communicate and discuss school or class issues easily. The system also sends
instant and weekly notification emails to the group members whenever there is
an update in their group or groups. This way all parents are updated about any
activity in their child’s school life and become part of it. There is also an
online instant private messaging function in the system which allows the
members communicate and chat one to one. It is used in Future international
School.

It is an app that allows teacher to create,

The teacher can upload a video or picture to the students and then create
questions regarding the video. The students will answer these questions using
their ipads and the teacher can see who answered right and who answered wrong. It
is used in public schools in UAE.

It is an app that allows students to read stories via
ipads, write stories or create images and turn it into stories. Storybird lets
anyone make visual stories in seconds. They curate artwork from illustrators
and animators around the world and inspire writers of any age to turn those
images into fresh stories. It's a simple idea that has attracted millions of
writers, readers, and artists to platform. It is used in Al-Dar Academy and in
Al-Madar Academy.
